Why You Need to Chose the Right Phone

Cell phones have become as important as clothes to many women these days. They originated as an object of communication, yet today they are being used as so much more.

I use my phone for everything – email, Twitter, Facebook, browsing the internet, and much more! It has become my portable office and I love the freedom it provides.

A survey of some 2,000 teens was conducted by wireless trade association CTIA and Harris Interactive that shows un-surprising results about the next generation’s thoughts on the cellular phenomenon. Cell phones have become an integral part of their lives. Teens feel that phones have become a vital part of their identities, in cases where they believe that they can gauge a peer’s popularity or status by the phone he or she uses.

This new generation after all is our future, and this is why adolescents represent an important demographic for cellular phone makers today. About four out of every five teens carry a cell with almost half of the teens surveyed today say that having a phone is “key” to their social lives. And with generation Y being said as the most connected generation the world has ever seen we really need to start looking into what they are on about. In fact Brenna, 17 said “Leaving home without my phone almost feels like leaving the house naked,” when participating in the panel.

Although maybe not quick as extreme, some adults today are quite like many teens in the respect that they also all have a cell phone that they will use regularly. So in this case they will all also need to choose the right handset to fit their particular needs, this is where a cell phone comparison can come into play. We are all individuals and all need a cellular handset for different things. A cell phone comparison will help you decide which handset is most suited to your needs, whether you work as a trade’s person or in an office you will at one time or another need a cell phone suited to you.

Cell Phone Comparison for teen. EASY 10 POINTS!?

Which is a better cell phone for a teen, a MOTOKRZR, an Lg EnV, or an Lg Chocolate? Include pros and cons, I’m willing to hear about every aspect. Like I said, give me something thorough and that 10 points is yours.

The KRZR is a cool slim phone, with a lot of great features to offer. It also, isn’t a very strong phone, because it’s so slim. However, it doesn’t have nearly as many features as the Chocolate, and the Chocolate still has a nicer style. The LG EnV has too many unnecessary features. They all cost extra (i.e. navigation, etc.) Overall, the Chocolate is a great blend of style, features, and price, plus did I mention it’s also a music phone.

Cell Phone Comparison: HTC Touch Diamond / HTC Touch Diamond 2 VS Nokia 5800 XpressMusic?

I’ve basically made up my mind on getting one of these 3 phones. I prefered the Nokia since I was able to find it for a pretty decent price. But I’m just posting this to see the points of views of others.

P.S. If you think I should get another phone outside of these 3 please post that as well. Just MAKE SURE it is compatible with T-MOBILE.

I am a big Nokia fan and a gadget freak too, I always do a lot of research and reviewing every time when I buy a new phone, I usually have a phone for every purpose may be this will help you understand which one is better for what such as N73 for business and work only, for music or time with friends iphone just to let friends know I am updated, for games I have Ncage, but doesnt matter PSP does everything now a days, But in short there is only one phone which I like taking it with me where ever I go or in any occasions and party I visit, I use that phone while I am driving for GPS maps also when I am travelling or need to know flight schedules I use that, Even for VOIP I use that gadget and for normal long calling with girlfriend I use that to even I use that for impressing girls and friends too In short that phone is my lovely mistress and that is HTC touch diamond and hopefully after some research and reviews I am planning to buy either HTC toch diamon 2 or HTC Hero, its and awesome phone I started liking more when I went online and downloaded some cool themes and softwares, 5800 i would never suggest if really need to use a phone for sound and music purpose go for I phone or wait till microsoft launches a Zune phone till then HTC buddy u have to get used to it, It makes you feel as if you are holding ur girl friends soft hand ( Thats my view) rest its ur decision All the best

Cellular Phones Through The Years

The cellular phone has truly evolved through the years. What used to be for making and receiving calls has progressed into an all in one gizmo loaded with lots of features that it is all you’ll ever be bringing along when you go out. Who would have thought that such a device that has provided so many advantages in the world of communication would be created?

When the very first mobile phones were first created they used to be heavy, bulky and had a very short battery life. But through the years, advances in technology have enabled it to advance into something more compact and versatile for the mobile phone market. Cellular phones used to be very expensive resulting in only a select few being able to afford it. Aside from the cell phone unit being costly, the phone service being provided by operators was also pricey at that time.

With more and more companies venturing into the mobile phone business and a lot of network service providers offering affordable rates, having a cellular phone is just within reach by most people nowadays. You can find a variety of brands and models to choose from to fit any budget.

The mobile phone today is truly an amazing advancement. What used to be green lighted screens with black text evolved into high resolution colored screen displays. Cellular phones used to be in just a simple shape and in plain color but now you can find them in clam shell types, flip types and others. You can even customize your phone with interesting accessories like changeable front covers. Ring tones used to be monotone but they soon developed polytones and now songs can even be used as your personal ring tone or message alert tone.

Mobile phones now come with built in cameras enabling you to take pictures anytime in case you need to capture a moment and you don’t have your digital camera with you. Feel bored when jogging or taking a train ride? Soothe yourself with some music since cell phones now have built in FM radio or MP3 players.

Modern cellular phones are equipped with GPRS, WAP, Bluetooth and many more. You can even record videos, play games, check your email, access the internet, shoot videos, make conference and video calls. The possibilities with your mobile phone are endless. Current cellular phones are packed with innovations that some are even expecting them to soon replace personal digital assistants and even the laptop. The advancements are endless and soon we will again be introduced with a new breed of mobile devices.

Choosing A Cellular Phone Service Provider

With the advent of the cell phone came the convenience of always being in touch. No longer were we tied to landlines in order to communicate – we now had a slick and compact companion that kept pace with our busy lifestyle. But along with the convenience came a multitude of decisions that had to be made including the type of phone that you would best be served by and the particular cellular phone service provider that would meet all your service needs at an affordable price.

Finding that cellular phone service provider, however, comes with some research and comparison shopping. Not every provider will make financial and logistical sense for your particular situation. Start with some online shopping which can be a great way to compare and contrast from the privacy of your own home and without the pressure from in-store employees.

Success can come with finding a cellular phone service provider that offers a balance between affordable service, quality customer service, and technologically advanced phones that provide the features that are important to you.

Pay attention – but also be wary of – incentive deals that a cellular phone service provider will offer in an effort to expand their customer base. While these deals may seem initially attractive, there may be caveats lurking in the fine print. Read everything you can find on each cellular phone service provider – assess their reputation among cell phone customers, their standing in the industry, and their available plans. Be sure that they offer a plan that works for your particular needs – including minutes, free phone service to friends and family, and rollover allowances.

Finally, be sure you understand the billing process for each cellular phone service provider – including all miscellaneous charges. And be sure you understand the contract before you sign with a cellular phone service provider including length of time and the availability of phone upgrades throughout the course of the contract.

A cellular phone service provider should ultimately make you feel comfortable and confident that you understand the service for which you are paying. Choose the provider that supports your cell phone service with quality customer service and affordable prices.

The wireless cell phone these days has become mans best friend, with in 2006 there was 2.5 billion wireless cell phones in use worldwide, and a further 1.1 billion sold in 2007 alone, this gives you a guide as to the popularity of them and the number in circulation.

Cell Phones and the Best Plan That Might Work for You

I can only advise you of the 2 best companies in the industry as far as reports from the FCC on companies that have the best customer service and receive the fewest complaints to the FCC per million customers. If you can, I would go with U.S. Cellular or Verizon. They are both wonderful companies and carry good quality brand phones, such as Nokia, Motorola and LG. If you are getting new service or renewing a contract with either of these companies, you can get a new phone for practically nothing.

Manufacturers will get the phones to a test group and then have them use the phone and report back the results. This could be the case here. I would have to say that if the manufacturers website doesn’t list it as released, then I would be leary about spending my money on it.

I would recommend going with Verizon Wireless. They offer one of the best networks in the industry and are a customer focused company. As far as phones, if you are looking at the most bang for your buck, I would recommend the LG 3300 or the Motorola V276,if you want a camera phone. Both phones are fairly priced and provide great quality.

There are many pros and cons associated with buying a cellphone, whether it is Contract or Pay as You Go. Over here in the UK Pay as You Go has been very popular now that the mobile operators have realised that it is a realistic solution to draw in a younger market. Most of the Pay as You Go options that I am aware of in the US are quite frankly ludicrous due to the fact that the operator who supply them are still trying to take too much of a cut. Take for example this section from Verizon Wireless Pay as You Go small print:

99¢ daily access will be charged and deducted from your account even on days you do not make or receive calls. Verizon Wireless will suspend service if you do not have the 99¢ required for your daily access, when your account balance reaches $0 or your account balance reaches the expiration date. Unlimited IN and Night minutes not available when your account balance has been suspended and subject to termination, at which time Verizon Wireless may charge up to $35 activation fee to re-establish service. Any balance remaining at expiration will be removed from the account.

The INpulse card is not valid unless initialized by the date on the back of the setup card. Service availability dependent on phone model. INpulse pricing not available with analog-only phones. Voice mail setup and retrievals are billed at regular INpulse rates and will deplete minute allowance when calling from your wireless phone. Charge per call for 411 Connect may vary when not on the Verizon Wireless INpulse Coverage Area. Restrictions and limitations may apply.

Automatic connection and enhanced services are not guaranteed at all times or in all areas and rates may vary when roaming on another carrier. For connected calls, the part of the call that occurs prior to connection may have different rates from the part of the call that occurs after connection. Additional toll and long distance charges may apply. You can make three requests per call and get automatic call completion for one requested telephone number at no extra charge. Using Get It Now, download charges may apply to application download. Airtime charges apply to application downloads and use of some applications.

Use of Get It Now is subject to the Get It Now License and User Agreements. You may be charged for downloading Get It Now applications. Charges vary by application and applications vary by phone. Get It Now-enabled phone is required and may require a connection in the INpulse All-Digital Rate and Coverage Area.

Existing Verizon Wireless prepay customers will forfeit any unused bonus minutes in their account when changing to the INpulse Calling Plan.

There are far to many extra cost associated with this, that in the end you would probably end up paying out more than you would on a low monthly contract. I would sugest that you take a look at the contract phones available to you from different operators, I know that Verizon has very good coverage right accros the US, there are some very reasonably priced deals available that would be a lot less hassle and, in the long run cheaper than the Pay as You Go plan.

Is there a website where I can do comparisons between cell phone model providers?

I don’t want specific models; just general models like Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, etc.

Is there a general comparison website that I can go to to check out prices and stuff without having to hop from one website to another?

I have a Samsung T-619 but it’s not working anymore and I’d like to get another phone but I want the exact same model and I’d like to do some "comparison" shopping alongside it, too.
Can I trade in my old phone for a new one? I’ve only had it for a year.

www.cnet.com.au

It’s a very good site!

If you have to make a comparison, which cell phone provider has the least dropped calls?

If you are in a certain office building, which provider offers the best signal assuming they all have towers nearest you? Which one also provides the widest coverage?

It truly depends on where you are, but I must say that I have been extremely pleased with AT&T’s service.

I frequently travel around the country with some friends of mine. One has Sprint, one has Verizon, one has T Mobile, and I have AT&T.

I routinely have the best service and least dropped calls in many places, and in the middle of nowhere as well.

Always? No. But no provider is perfect, so you must choose the one that best fits your needs.
